As a Partner and Development Team Leader at MedCraft, Jon leads development and capital markets for the firm’s national healthcare real estate platform. In 18 years of industry experience, he has structured, financed, and closed over $1 billion in healthcare real estate projects and co-created a private real estate fund with total transactions also exceeding $1 billion across private, public, and family-office investors. Jon’s focus is partnering with health systems on their transition from inpatient to ambulatory care — delivering the capital, development expertise, and programming capabilities to meet the rapidly evolving demands of healthcare.
Prior to MedCraft, Jon worked with Frauenshuh Healthcare Real Estate and Welltower (NYSE: WELL), and AEI Capital Management helping grow and expand their respective investment and real estate development programs.
Jon holds an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Northern Colorado, and carries both the CCIM designation and a Minnesota Real Estate Broker license. Married with two children, he can usually be found on a mountain, a court, a course, or a trail — snowboarding, playing basketball, golfing, or mountain biking whenever time allows.
