Closing in a Crisis – Ascension Fishers

20 May 2020

WORKING THROUGH A GLOBAL PANDEMIC TO KEEP HEALTHCARE DEVELOPMENTS ON SCHEDULE

MedCraft continues its work as a trusted partner to health systems nationally. Working collaboratively with Ascension, Medxcel and our project partners, we successfully navigated the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 crisis by keeping the project teams united, focused and on schedule.

Here are a few highlights of our team’s contributions:

  • arcDESIGN streamlined design documentation packages and state approvals to meet fast track permitting, GMP and closing processes.
  • Landworx Engineering, responsible for site and civil design, leveraged existing relationships with the City of Fishers to obtain approvals even while officials were working remotely.
  • Meyer Najem Construction implemented COVID-19 safety protocols at the work site and coordinated closely with city officials and subcontractors to ensure a timely construction start and safe work environment.
  • Old National Bank ensured the construction loan closed and funded, just as the banking industry was inundated with PPP loan applications and existing borrower requests.
MedCraft would like to recognize and say a big thank you to our partners: Ascension, Ascension St. Vincent, Ascension Medical Group, Medxcel, Meyer-Najem Construction, arcDESIGN, Landworx Engineering, Mader Design, OfficeWorks, Harrison Street, and Old National Bank.
